I was lucky enough to get to work with Kate and Brian in planning their wedding at Farmstead, Long Meadow Ranch in St. Helena. The weekend hosted a majority of guests staying at the Calistoga Spa which Kate and her family had spent summers vacationing at and it brought back fun memories. I had gotten to know Kate and her family well while I was also planning two other weddings of close friends, one that Kate actually officiated at. We even bonded over our fear of small planes flying together to Palm Springs.

Working with vendors that they had past relationships with also made for both sentimental and beautiful experiences. Sasha Gulish, working as their photographer, and Michael Daigian, a longtime family friend, partnered as their floral designer, created amazing design and decor and truly enhanced the rustic elegance of the venue.

Fingers crossed, there will be another wedding or social event that will bring me back together with Kate and Brian soon.
